Here is my 1953 MGTD, a rare MK 2 model. These had extra power from larger carbs, larger intake ports, and higher compression. This car also has the extra set of Andrex shocks, which are pictured. It has a finned aluminum valve cover and finned aluminum oil pan. Only 226 MK2’s produced in 53. I have the original California pink slip, dated 1959 when the second owner first registered it. The black California plates are correct for this car. I have all the registrations from 59 to 67, although he did not drive the car after 1965, the car has been sitting that long ! He did road race this car in southern California during the late 50's. Virtually no rust in this car, and I got it to run off a gas can. The top bows are all there, as are the side curtain frames. Obviously this needs to be restored, and does not presently drive. I will gladly help arrange shipping to your door, I have many good resources for that. Oversea’s delivery not a problem.
