2004 HOT LAVA SCION XB / RELEASE SERIES 1 Miles: 192,000+ NO RESERVE Simply Put….The most reliable car that I have ever owned. If you are looking for a super reliable car that is great on gas (30 city / 34 highway) here it is. I hate to sell it, because the car has been nothing but great to me, but I just bought a new car that I got a great deal on and I couldn’t pass it up. So, there is no need for this one anymore. My XB honestly drives as smoothly as the day I bought it. It’s remarkable. Starting bid is WAY below blue book value. Stats: I am the original owner The 192,000+ miles are all highway. All on Route 295 and NJ Turnpike. It was strictly a commuter car. No modifications done. Oil changes done religiously every 5,000 miles. New Brakes put on 10/07/11 4 New 75,000 mile Hankook Tires added this year with TONS of tread remaining Great in snow The car really shines as the paint has held up really nicely. People can’t believe that it looks so good for an ’04. A branch fell off of a tree and landed on it and a small one where the branch hit on the side of the car. See picture The lower skirt of the front bumper has a few cracks and 1 fog light cover is missing. I ran into a piece of tire on the highway and they popped off. See Picture The driver side lock button just stopped working by remote. All other locks open with remote, but the driver side needs to be locked and unlocked with the key.The backlight on the radio works intermitantly. Radio works great, but sometimes the light goes out for a period of time. The time and radio station numbers are always on display though. The rear wiper mechanism does work, but when I was cleaning snow off of the car, the wiper arm got caught on my jacket and broke off.I did have a small accident to the driver side door and scratches along the rear of the car. It was all cosmetic so, the door panel needed to be replaced and the scratches needed to be addressed. I went through my insurance company and they paid to get it fixed by a reputable repair shop. No damage to any of the structure or airbag deployment. I sideswiped the corner bumper of another car going about 10 miles an hour.There are also the usual nicks to the car from highway driving as you would expect of a 2004 car. I have detailed all of the issues that I know of on the car. This is a perfect school or commuter car that is safe and VERY reliable. The car runs awesome and I know that it has plenty of more miles left in it. There is just no sign of it slowing down.
