Sadly I have to move so I can not get to this project. So my loss is your gain. I am selling my 1989 Corvette I have had the car six months and bought it because it ran strong. It has been reviewed by two mechanics and they feel it is sound and that with a little tune up type work it would scream. The only known mechanical issue is that the valve cover leaks oil. This is a cheap gasket fix. The car needs paint. The body is in good to very good condition no damage. Someone just slapped on a flat black paint job. The interior is good and typicla for a vehicle of this age. The only other issue I know of is the targa top has a crack and needs to be replaced. It is being garage kept so there is no water intrusion. it is clean. What else can I say? This is an easy fun project for someone with a little time on their hands. Would just take a paint job and some cosmetics and light work to have a real fun and great car. I bought it for $5000 because it wouldn't take much. But a change in jobs has forced me to clean out my toys. If you have ANY questions ask! I have tried to be accurate and honest.
