I just purchased this from the original owner who bought it from California in 1971. The factory paint is original except for the hood and hatch. The paint has not been touched up - original patina. I just serviced it and it is ready to go after it had been stored in a garage for six years. Servicing included replacement of fuel pump, replacement of gas line and brake adjustment. If you have been looking for an original and honest Datsun 240Z then this is it. The engine and transmission were rebuilt at 106,000 miles. It has Panasport rims, automatic transmision and air conditioning. Pictures have captured what little surface rust there is as well as scratches in the paint. Again, it is surface rust ONLY and does not perforate the body. Compared to others you will find, this is original paint and the pictures show the worst of it so you will not be surprised at what you get. Also the engine and transmission do indeed have less than 25,000 miles since they were rebuilt.
