Vehicle Detail
1988 Fiero GT Project CarI bought this car in 1995 and drove it for 3 years as my personal car. In the fall of 1998 when the fuel pump wore out and it was difficult to start when hot. I thought that I would fix the fuel pump and then restore the rest of the car. Now it is 13 years later and I have done nothing. I am getting older and it looks like I never will restore the old Pontiac. I have kept it inside all of these years in a semi-heated garage and my wife is not too happy about that. Since I am never going to restore this Fiero, it is time to let someone else do it. The car is not in perfect condition, but I think that it is the perfect car to restore. It is the right colors, the right year, the right transmission and it has no goofy custom modifications. Consider this car a “barn find”. Get it, take it apart, put it back together and be proud to show it.On Nov-17-11 at 13:20:31 PST, seller added the following information: To be perfectly clear ... you will not be able to drive this car home ... the gas tank is out of it and the old fuel pump has been removed. I have the new pump. It needs to be installed and the tank put back in the car. All lines have been colored coded for easy re-installation.. Beyond the above, The front brakes need attention but I have already purchased the rotors. The tires on the front are new. The popup headlights no longer pop up. There is a crack in the windshield and the paint is looking tired. The seats are fine and the wheels are good. This is not a car that you can work on for two days and then begin driving it. It needs to be restored.
