1987 Honda CR

Up for sale is a nice and clean 1987 Honda CR 80 Dirt Bike / Motocross bike. This bike is really nice shape for its age, and I am selling it for a friend. He and his wife had "his and hers" dirt bikes, his a 86 CR 125 and hers was this little bike. Overall condition is good. Becuase it was ridden by a beginner for its entire life, it is not beat on. It would make an ideal platform for a full restoration, which I would do if I had more time. There are no rips on the seat, no breaks in the plastic, and the bike is almost all stock. The tear fender was replaced with the NOS OEM stock Honda fender. Otherwise the bike has normal wear and tear. Rear Sprocket and chain is aftermarket. Overall, this bike is real clean and nice for its age. Most of these bikes were beat to heck and back by kids. Check out my other auction for the matching 1986 CR 125 which is clean and nice as well. The bars are straight, the levers are straight, the plastic is not broke, the graphics are clean and there are no dents in the rims. Its clean. It is not mint, but it is real clean and nice. We have an extra set of graphics (stock) for it as well which I will include, and which you can mount on the gas tank side. Notes: Bike needs a lower chain guide (under the swing arm), but those are going for $10 or so here on ebay. Bike drips oil from the center case at the rate of about 1 drip a month. Really not a big deal! The finish on the motor (the black) is peeling a little bit (on the bottom end) by the carb. The tires are about 45% life. I think they are the original tires. Overall, this bike is all there. If you wanted to restore it to like new condition, all the parts are basically there. It just needs some good cleaning and some elbow grease. Otherwise you can keep it and ride it as it is, and you do dont even had to restore. She starts and runs well. Brakes are good, etc. We have a clear title.
