You are bidding on a 1972 Corvette Coupe with less than 2,000 miles since a complete frame off restoration. This car is a consistent show winner, having won "Top Ten" or "Best Of" at every show. Restoration on this car took place from May 2005 to May 2007. Buyer will be provided complete restoration diary of work done, which will include invoices and close to 1,000 pictures. Car was restored in original Classic White exterior with Red vinyl interior. The original 350 engine was rebuilt to stock specifications. A Eldebrock intake and carb. was added but original intake and Quadra Jet carb. comes with the car. Engine pad number (V0916CKX). The original 3 speed, turbo 400 transmission was completely rebuilt. (72-CK) The original AX coded rear end is a 3.36 limited slip. (New seals, oil and gasket) VIN on windshield post matches numbers on frame and engine block Car is equipped with PS and PB.The car was equipped with air conditioning, but the A/C system was not reinstalled. Those parts were kept in case the next owner wants A/C. Car has original Delco AM/FM radio in working condition. The interior was completely gutted and replaced with an all new interior and heat barrier was added under carpet. New seat foam in seats. Very good original glass with the exception of a new windshield. The peripheral components such as the starter, alternator and water pump are identical in function and appearance, are new but not numbers matching parts. The bumpers are all original and re-chromed to show quality during the restoration. All new ceramic coated Hedman Headers, stainless steel pipes and Flow Master mufflers. Original exhaust manifolds go with the car. All metal parts that were not replaced were sand blasted and painted. Everything useable was refurbished if it was an original part. All electrical and vacuum components work flawlessly. New lines on vacuum system. Original center caps with new trim rings. Removable rear window. New BF Goodrich radial T/A tires. New stainless brake and gas lines. New shocks. New rotors with new pads and wheel bearings. New radiator and heater core. New master cylinder. New Chrome luggage carrier. All New rubber seals around doors, T-tops and rear window. New speedometer and tach cables. New GM replacement driver's side mirror (installed) with new GM replacement passenger side mirror not installed. New GM replacement door handles and locks. New cross-flag emblems on hood and gas cap lid. New speakers in kick panels and dash. New Quartz clock.(original looks) All new bulbs in instrument panel and driving lights.
