I am offering my beautiful and stunning original 1964 Ford Thunderbird convertible to the highest winning bidder.I have owned this car for many years and it has always been a very reliable and pleasurable car to show off in.I believe this is one of the finest original 1964 Thunderbirds you will find anywhere in the country.The car was bought brand new in San Francisco,California.The previous owner I bought the car from told me that the car was used in the hit movie "Good Neighbor Sam" from 1964,and was one of the four White/Blue Thunderbird Convertibles that was used in the nighttime scene where they painted out the billboards in San Francisco.She later moved to Rancho Mirage,California,where it resided until 2005,when I purchased the car.I will tell you that the original body on this car is just like factory new.The car has every original body panel.It has never been in any accidents.Never had any rust or patch panels.It is what you call a perfect "virgin"body.There was only one paint job done a couple years back professionally due to some nicks and scratches,but all the inside door jambs,under the hood,and in the trunk compartments still have the original paint.Also,all the original floors and trunk are not only free of rust it still has beautiful bright white paint from the factory.The white paint is very nice with no particular dings or wear marks anywhere.The chrome on both the exterior and interior have never been rechromed and are in near perfect condition.The chrome is very shiny and there is almost no pitting or wear marks anywhere.The blue interior is immaculate.No rips or tears.The pleted door panels are in great original shape.Everything functions coreectly on the car including the multi phase power top.The original top was replaced for the first time 5 years ago with a "Robbins top",which is supposed to be the best in the country.It still looks like new.New power pump was added.Original weatherstripping are in great original shape.The car has a very strong and smooth 390 V-8 and a great shifting automatic transmission.The car runs,drives,steers,and brakes beautifully.In 2006,I redid the radiator,water pump,alternator,hoses,belts,tune up,and carb.The tires are fairly new with very nice wire wheels that I bought at the same time I had the convertible top done.The car was always garaged and well maintained since new.This car also came with interesting options which includes:power sterring,power brakes,dual mirrors,optional seat belts,vacuum automatic door locks,am radio,4 way flashers,fluid driven windshield wipers,and the Landau seat option(reclining seat with a pop up headrest).I really want this to go to a person who will aprreciate this great classic.I have gotten alot of enjoyment out the car and I hope this can bring alot of pleasure to the next new owner.Please bid with confidence.It is a great rare find that you don't come across very often.Thanks for viewing my item.
