very nice 1972 suzuki gt550 two stroke motorcycle.bike was professionaly painted last summer with close to original metalic blue paint.4 coats of clear were applied over paint with hardener for long lasting gloss.bike has new standard pistons and rings installed also last summer.this is the rare early model with the massive 4 shoe front drum brake.all models after this had disk brake.i was planning on riding this bike next year but due to selling house and moving i wnat to downsize the number of bikes i have to move.bike starts and runs very well ,all lights work and engine sounds awsome.chrome is in really nice shape.gauges are clear and everything works as it should.i have a clear title for the bike as well.the seat cover is original and has a split in the side(see picture) chrome chaingaurd isnt correct(should be black) chain and sprockets look good and i would trust the tires at average speed but you may want to get new ones as these are probably the originals (not sure).no reserve auction,you can pick the bike up in northern lower michigan or arrange shipping for yourself.i can give you number of shipper that i have had good results with at a reasonable cost.i you need more pictures let me know.call me at 989-745-3483 if you have other questions.this bike isnt perfect but would look at very good in any vintage show.
