This auction is for a 1949 Ford F-1 flathead V8 with a 3 speed manual transmission with shift on column. It is operating with the original 6 volt system, but all wiring throughout the truck has been replaced with new. All gauges work. I began working on this several years ago. With the exception of the aftermarket tubeless tires, turn signals, electric wipers, and trailer hitch, it is all stock. It has been freshly painted with factory original red vermillion paint. No rust or dents on body. Engine and transmission are strong and the truck runs and drives very well. It has new king pins and bushings, new brakes, new tires, and exhaust system. It also has a new wiring throughout, new where glass where needed, new weather stripping, new interior headliner, kick panels, floor mat, and factory original red vermillion paint. My goal has been to restore it to be an original, all-around daily driver, which it now is. It is NOT a show truck, but is an attention getter wherever it goes. It will operate at around 55 mph max on the highway. The only major item remaining to be done would be to install an oak bed kit. We have moved into a condo and I have lost interest in keeping it.
