This is a VERY RARE 1958-9 Chevrolet COE Viking 50 Cabover cab and chassis. It has a very rare factory 283 c. i. V-8 engine It has a 2 speed rearend. All tires hold air. The truck ran when parked 3 years ago. Its turns over but does not start right away. It probably just needs a little tinkering to run. Oil is good and clean and pure. The choke cable was loose so I think that has something to do with it. This is an original North Dakota farm truck in very good condition. I think Its plumbed with a PTO hydraulics, see in photo. It was stored indoors for many years so there is very little rust as you can see from the pictures. there was a little rust pocket just inside on the door threshold and the roof front. other than that I didnt see any other. The body appears to be very straight with no signs of accidents. The truck was painted 3 times so it has preserved the metal very well. This Viking 50 is really cool and would make a great restoration candidate.
