1962 Cadillac Sedan DeVille For Sale I am selling my 1962 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. I've owed it for about 2 years and my original plan was to do a complete restore. Unfortunately I ran out of time and money to do that. It runs great. I put about 2,500 miles on it driving it through out the summer. It has the original 390 motor in it and is still has the original stamped ownership plate under the hood. For being and almost 50 year old classic it really gave me almost no trouble all year. I have done a few things to it this year. Here is a list of what I have done. New vacuum lines New Brakes New Alpine Pandora internet radio with 4 new speakers I had the generator completely rebuilt. I had the window motors rebuilt Complete tune up This car will start up on the first try and runs and idles smoothly. I even hopped in it on a whim and drive it to 200 miles to boston and it ran great. The car is registered and inspected in Vermont, unfortunately the Vermont inspection sticker expired last month and I just haven't had the time to get it reinspected. The title is clear and free of liens and is a Massachusets title. If I wanted to keep the car there are a few things I would probably fix first. Being a New England car it has a little bit of rust, there is visible rust on the edges of the panels and at the bottom of the doors. Any decent body man can get rid of the rust with just a little bit of elbow grease. Here is a quick list of what I would do if I kept it. Repair rust and repaint The gas gauge just stopped working. It worked last time I drove it, however I drove it a few days ago and noticed it wasn't working. The exhaust needs to be tacked back up. It looks like the weld that holds it up to the frame broke. The interior is in great shape however it is showing a few signs of wear. The back deck behind the rear seat is sun faded and peeling up. There is a few tears in the seems of the front seat. It is in easy fix because it is in the seam and is hardly noticable. I am in the process of going through a divorce so I need to sell it ASAP. The car is located in southern Vermont. Buyer is responsible for shipping or delivery. The front seat power motor needs to be rebuilt. I took a brief video and posted it to YouTube.
