Vehicle Detail
This is my daily driver, it is a 1984 C30 One Ton Dually with a 2005 Dually bed on it. I'm selling it as I recently spent thousands and thousands of dollars rebuilding my '67 pickup for work use with a high dollar engine, tires, and other parts. With 2 trucks and 2 motorcycles in addition to this one I've got to let something go. Here's what I've done to it : Rebuilt Engine Installed, 17,000 miles on 350 smallblock engine with Edelbrock performer intake manifold and Edelbrock Quadrajet 4 barrel Carburetor I switched it from a Turbo 400 automatic transmission to a SM465 3 speed with granny low standard transmission, it has a brand new clutch and flywheel New Radiator (less than 4,000 miles) New Master Cylinder (less than 6,000 miles) New Rear main seal (at time of clutch / flywheel install) New Oil pan gasket (at time of clutch, flywheel install) Undercoated the frame 17,000 miles ago, reeplaced idler arm bearing, u joints, bushings, tie rod ends, ball joints, and everything when I did the restoration 2005 Chevy dually bed installed, truck repainted to match bed paint color at time of install New NOS bench seat and door panels installed 17,000 miles ago Here's what I need to do to it: Drivers side window crank needs to be adjusted, window is fully up right now. I took it apart to grease and have run out of time to put back together. Can do if it's a dealbreaker on sale. Mechanism on passenger side is brand new and works perfect. Slight exhaust leak at weld going into y pipe, manifolds fine and are not cracked or damaged When I replaced the transmission I forgot to replace the shift forks, 60% of the time you hold 2nd gear in for the few seconds you are in it..I can dremel a hole and replace the shift forks right from the cab I just haven't had to bother. The transmission shifts and operates fine and I'm in and out of 2nd so fast that holding my hand there for a 2nd doesn't really bother me. I've had the transmission in for 2 years driving everyday, including 200 mile trips, with it. I'd be willing to drive this vehicle to your location for the cost of gas(assuming you are near major transit I can take home or are within 50 miles) after receiving deposit, I'd drive it to New York or Chicago tomorrow if I needed to, heat works fine, truck is a reliable work truck. I had this truck inspected last year, I'm taking it off the road to park at my shop as the inspection ends 10/31 and I'd like to take it off my insurance as I'm using the other truck and have only one spot at home. I'm going to keep the plates active for 1 more month with insurance so I can drive to deliver it if necessary. Clear title.
