It is a prime example of an all original Honda CT70 from the Candy Ruby Red paint on down to the original tires this bike is in great shape for being 40 years old. There are some minor scratches here and there but again for 40 year old original paint it is absolutley stunning. All the emblems and stickers are also in great shape for the age with no rips or fading. The only none original part would be a the seat which is in like new condition and fits in perfectly with the look of the bike. All the chrome pieces are in great conditon and have no rust or pitting on them. There is a minor ding in the front fender. All the aluminum engine pieces are in great shape and shine very nicely. If you are looking for a wonderfully kept all original CT 70 this is the bike. With no restoration involve this keeps the perfect patina of a 40 year old machine. Mechanically this bike is in good shape. The engine kicks over on the first kick. The 70cc engine roars to life pleasantly humming with no pinging or odd sounds. The 3 speed transmission shifts smoothly in all gears. The shocks are in great shape and give you a smooth ride. The front left shock sleeve is split due to age wear. Both the rear and front brake stops smoothly and does not leave you hanging. The bike does not have a battery so the lights do not turn on.. a easy fix would require getting a battery. Other than that this trail 70 runs like a trail 70 should nothing but a reliable smooth ride.
