I bought this car with, what I thought was, a clear title. I started working on it; put a new trunk pan in. I went to the DMV to register it only to find out the title was no good; not signed correctly. The title was from 1987 so I'm guessing its been off the grid for a while. In Wisconsin, it is very difficult and complicated to get a replacement title. So, I am going to cut my losses and sell the car as a project car without the title. The subframes are in good condition. The front (standard, not deluxe) buckets are in pretty good condition. The back seat isn't quite as nice. The door panels are deluxe interior but the armrests are cracked. There are little firebird emblems on both door panels and both doors and above the glovebox have the oh shit handles. Both sides have the kick panels. You can't tell by the pics, but the car comes with all windows. The windshield looks like it has a bb or pellet mark in it. The car needs floorpan, front fender, rear fender, and cowl work. If you send me an email address, I can email you more pics. The car was originally a 400 with a 4 speed manual and was carousel red; I sent the number into The Pontiac Historical Society. Do to overwhelming response (more than anticipated), here is a list of the additional parts available for sale for the car: front bumper, 2 (like new) rear fenders, new cowl replacement panels for both sides, 2 front inner fenders, new gas tank, hood (not the 400 hood), manual tranny crossmember and a front valence. For an additional $700, you get all the listed parts. I also have the plastic dash with speedo and gas gauge, heater control, wiper control and cigarette lighter for and additional $750 (worth over $1100 new).I am starting at $600 for the rolling chassis. Anything lower and I can strip the rest of the good parts off it to sell and scrap the rest. This is a pickup only auction. And as stated, there in no title with the car.
