My intention was to keep both cars, but I must sell one. If it does not sell, I will end up keeping it. THE GOOD: The engine is a factory installed VW/Audi in-line 6 cylinder turbo diesel engine and runs flawlessly. Car itself has 138K miles and about 15K on a rebuilt D24T. It has a ZF22 automatic transmission that shifts flawlessly. The interior is out of a 945, but is not completely assembled, as seen in the pictures. The car has a working sunroof and a good headliner. The rebuilt factory D24T engine has been modded with a HP aneroid boost pin from Germany installed in the injection pump, pump governor spring was also modified, total seal piston rings in the engine, ported and polished cylinder head, as well as timing belts. There is no blowby on this engine and it uses no oil. Mobil 1 synthetic oil has been used exclusively since the rebuild. It also has a 940 turbo cooling fan setup, so the original mechanical fan setup was deleted, but I should have the original stuff for that as well. Everything used was factory parts, all Volvo, including the relay, the sensor setup is from a Saab 900 turbo so parts are easy to get. Cooling setup is 80ºC thermostat and I'm pretty sure the fan has 87ºC fan switch. It works great! The waste gate is INOP purposely, so it'll boost like heck... I am told, that if desired, you can fix that with tuning down the fuel and/or fixing the waste gate, or simply using self control and use the accelerator and the gauges to monitor things, as the previous owner did. It'll put down over 30psi of boost I'm told. The engine can take that, but I do not think the turbo could. It has extra VDO gauges for oil pressure and oil temperature, an exhaust pyrometer that needs power wires put back (since the interior was apart). It also has all of the 740 gas turbo gauges installed in the instrument cluster. THE BAD: The tailgate is dented and the drivers side 1/4 panel is dented. Nothing structural. No broken glass, doors all open, frame is straight. It is easily fixed. Front passenger door also has small dent in it, but I have a matching replacement door to go with the car included with the sale. The plastic trim for the rear hatch area is missing, however, I may have that. If not, it can be obtained from any pick and pull yard. I believe everything else trim wise is there. The center console is also missing, and I cannot find that in my parts stash, again, very common find in most any junkyard. The tires need to be replaced. They are worn out. Car includes many extra parts. Also included is some amount of D24T intercooler parts. For $200 extra, I will include a M46 manual transmission and pedal box for this car. Car has 740/940 wheels (Adhara's), and I lost one of the center caps. Located in Westport, PA 17778. Car can be seen approx. 1 mile West of Westport on PA route 120. I have it out front. Questions?
