1997 BMW R850R RUNS GREAT Hello and thanks for looking.. Up for sale is a 1997 bmw r850r motorcycle, starts right up and runs very nice.. has a new battery, has been a daily driver and very reliable, im the second owner, engine runs very nice, does not smoke, leak or make any extra noises, its been well maintained, front tire is in poor shape, rear tire is at 20% , brakes are good, shifts fine through all gears and does not grind or do weird things, all lights work, turn signals work, taillight lens has a crack, left lower side of tank has a small dent size of quarter, hardly noticeable, seat is in excellent shape, speedo works intermittent, also the gas tank front plastic cover is missing, you can buy it used for about 40 bucks, bike handles well on the road , at all speeds, and its really fun to ride, its got 74.000 miles, but still runs strong and looks very nice... bmw side bags are in good shape, overall shows minor wear and tear, never been down, good bike for its age and miles.
