Lloyd Alexander TS Coupe 1960Used as a Hero Car in the new T.V. series Pan Am( Entire Show Can Be Viewed on Abc.com Click on Shows - Pan Am Series - Video Episode 3 Ich Bin Ein Berliner ) Lloyds are not very well know around here but at one time they were third behind Volkswagen and Opel in Germany. They produced small inexpensive cars and this example is no different. This car features a tiny 596cc two cylinder four stroke engine. It produces 25 horsepower and is good for up to 66mph. Although simple, the interior of this Lloyd looks clean and usable. The whole car appears to be in good condition and with a little cleaning and maintenance would make a nice driver. We would not recommend buying a new micro car, but we think this vintage one would be fun because of its charm. It may even handle well considering how lightweight it is. Either way we are sure it will get some looks going down the road.On 8/9/2011 the Llyod was rented by Woodbridge Productions, Inc. to be used in the t.v. series "Pan Am". The car was used by the two lead actress in the show as a getaway car! Also on ABC.com under props for Pan Am they show the picture of the Lloyd. Included in the sale is a parking permit from the production company. It seems there has been one repaint in the original color. No bodywork or prior rust/damage is present. The interior is origonal and never restored, new carpet has just been installed over the origional rust free floor boards. Trunk is solid and the jack/spare is all there. All the glass is good in the car and a spare rear curved back window is included. The windsheild has a small chip that I would have sealed. All gauges seem to be working. Car does run and drive but in the last week the fuel pump has started to leak at the seem. ( a simple gasket or permatex would solve this).
