we bought this yukon back in 2007 from the original owners. we paid 6300.00 for it.... it had 177000 miles on it. my wife drove it with the kids everywhere. it has always been very dependable for us. the yukon now has 233000 miles on it. it runs and drives great. the motor is very strong with no oil smoke. the motor does have a lifter noise when you first start it but when it warms up it completly goes away. the motor has over 40 pounds of oil presure when warmed up. i put the steel cowl induction hood on it and a custom grill and tail lights years ago. i never got around to having the hood painted to match the yukon it has always been in its factory black primer and now it is faded and has a few spots of surface rust. the body is nice there is rust at the bottom of rear passenger side 1/4 and around the 1/4 wheel well. there is rust at bottom of the back swing out doors. pictures show these areas. the brakes are great, the tires are fair, the transmission was rebuilt last year because it was slipping and a good friend of mine owns a transmission shop. the 4 wheel drive has always worked great i parked the yukon 5 months ago and last week when i moved it i could not get the switch to engage the 4 wheel drive. my friend who owns the transmission shop told me that one of the switches is bad its a common problem but i have not replaced it. the ac is all hooked up but needs a compressor. the sun roof was leaking and i sealed it with clear silocone. sun roof works but if you use it then it will break the seal and it will need to be replaced. pioneer cd player with remote and amp. new 103.00 dollar battery. vehicle is dirty and we have not cleand it or vacumed it in awhile. runs and drives great. the service engine soon light comes on and off. i had it checked and they said it was a 02 sensor and i never changed it. last year i drove the yukon from chicago to joplin mo and back then i went to indiana and back all with the service engine soon light on. we have recieved a newer vehicle from my wifes parents for free. the license plates have since exspired and it is just sitting. we no longer use it so we dont need it. the buy now price is fair even if someone wants to use it for parts. can store for 30 days at auctions end but vehicle must be paid in full at auctions end.
