Condition: Engine runs excellently, new brake lines, rebuilt transmission, new clutch, plenty of tire tread remaining (current tires excel at dry pavement, rocks, and snow), ready for off-road: (Ford F-150 axles, reverse shackles, 5 inch lift, shocks, extended wheel wells), has paint and body damage, lock cylinder on driver side door damaged, surface rust (shown in pictures; no structural rust), rusted front window frame (will leak water during heavy rain; easy fix: new front window frame costs less than $100 for YJ), front glass chip, dented front fender, tachometer inconsistent, smoke-free vehicle, interior clean, no rips, tears, or odors. Features: California (CA) Emissions Equipped Vehicle (bought new in 1994 in Sunnyvale, CA), trailer hitch, alloy wheels, hard top, 33" tires, 33" spare tire, steel frame rear tire carrier swing door, Yakima rear tire ski rack and bicycle rack included (not shown), 2 keys, original alarm system, Steel Horse felt lined hard top, Yamaha sound system speaker bar, standard factory cassette AM/FM radio. History: 1 owner, all records, clean title, MA inspection through August 2012 (8/12), California car, mostly garaged in winter since in Massachusetts, oil changes every 3000 mi, on ignition I always warm up the engine for 3 minutes in neutral gear before putting a load on the engine (lets engine block temp come up and circulates oil - prevents cold start internal friction wear), always drove smooth (Google "jackie stewart driving technique smooth"), only 73,978 miles. This compartment is not safe for valuables anyhow - it is plastic. For security, one should lock valuables in the back trunk behind the rear door. My Jeep has the anti-theft trunk metal insert (an upgrade from the original) that may be easily unlatched within a minute or two to re-configure the back for hauling things. The rear seat also easily detaches within seconds to provide additional cargo area (the rear seat also folds down or folds forward).
