1966 Jaguar Mark X Sedan with 4.2 high compression motor. This is a numbers matching California car, owned in Monterey California and garaged by a careful Jaguar loyal car collector. The motor is the same style used in the XKE and it has a lot of power. See the rare Jaguar owners club emblem. It still has its California historical license plates. NO rust, clean body and undercarriage. Floors, trunk and rockers are in very nice condition. Perfect car to restore or drive. Purchased from an estate sale. Mileage is low and is original at 65,300 miles. Cars of this condition are becoming very hard to find especially with this original patina. I have the service log from the previous owner and it shows how detailed the records were kept. Vin/data plates are still in tact on wheel fender arch (see pictures). It has the rare, rear air conditioning that still works. Wood is in excellent condition considering its age. Tray tables in the back are very good condition. Original leather seats are good in front, but rear has tears and needs new leather. Carpets are still in very good shape. Paint is decent but has some minor scratches on passenger side where owner touched the frame of his garage backing out. Chrome is all in tact and in very good condition. Just installed new spark plug wires, cap and rotor and new starter. Car runs, drives and starts quickly. Car is equipped with jack, spanners, and spare tire. The steering wheel column shaft is a bit loose and could use a bushing but steers just fine . Brakes are great, and transmission shifts smoothly. This is a good running car and would be perfect for the avid collector who wants to do a full restoration as well as the weekend enthusiast who wants to slowly restore, and still drive this classic rare sedan.
