This is a very nice old car that was restored by an elderly owner who knew these cars very well. The car is mechanically correct with a 59AB Flathead V8 and three speed manual transmission. The paint quality is spectacular as is the interior. The car has always been kept in a dark garage so the car quality is very good. It comes with all the manuals and instruction tags. I am a Mechanical Engineer and have been through the vehicle from top to bottom and can tell you about almost every part of the car. If you would like to inspect the car or have it inspected call and we can set up a time and place to see the car. This is a VERY nice driver. The interior is not original materials but is a lot more comfortable than the old wool seatcovers ever were. In today's market cars like this that have not been modified or cut up to make rods out of them are becoming increasingly hard to find and enjoy. You may find bodies or "project cars" but you will be into them for a lot more than this price by the time you are done, ask around. One of the things that attracted me to the car ten years ago when I bought it was that is had about every accessory you could get in 1946 including AM Radio (tube type works great), Deluxe heater/defroster, Unity fog lights, turn signal kit, oil filter, trunk light, bumper guards, bumper corner guards, dummy spots, wind cheaters, spare tire cover, blue dots, etc. The car runs and drives VERY well and attracts attention wherever it goes. It was shown at the Early V8 Ford Club Regional Show in 2001 and won First Place for the Closed Car Class 1932-1953. This car has a clear Texas title and is ready to go.
