The story:This car was purchased new in July of 1990 by an elderly couple Don and Reba Morgan in Houston , TX. They used it to literally drive a couple of miles to the grocery store and church every week. There sitters drove the car just to keep it from sitting when they were alive. Don died first and then Reba died in 2004.The nephew drove the car around the block from the time Don died until Reba's death. The car was stored since 2004. I purchased it in 2011. You are looking at a 1991 Mercury Grand Marquis LS. It is powered with a 5.0L V8 and automatic transmission. It is equipped with power drivers seat, power windows, power locks, tilt, cruise,and am/fm/cass radio .Also included are aftermarket FOB.. The interior of this car is how you would expect..The seats overall are in excellent shape.The carpet is clean and in excellent shape.It was not smoked in. I think everyhting functions properly. The only thing I notice is some fade on the dash. The exterior of this car is overall is in great shape. The car was not garage kept for the past few years so I will say there some oxidation on the chrome trim ( needs to be polished)The top is in good shape ( a little fade , but not bad. Mechanically we just had the car was serviced due to sitting up. We had the gas tank cleaned and new belt and battery installed. We also had the a/c retrofitted to R134a. This car starts right up and runs great.The transmission shifts smooth. The a/c blows ice cold.The front end is tight.We replaced the tires with a brand new set ( excellent shape).
