Up for auction is a 1969 Jaguar XKE 2 +2 with NO RESERVE. It ended up off the road in 2008 due to a fuel pump. Along with building a new house it was move to the bottom of priority list. I bought it a couple months ago wanting to have another XKE. I Replaced the SU fuel pump and 2 plastic OEM lines. It has 5 chrome steel wheels with Pirelli P4 tires. The body is straight and is British racing green recently done. Door bottom and drain holes are solid. Battery area is good with no rust or rot. Both the floor pans has a lifting jack tear and dent on both sides. It seems like someone did not know where to lift the car. Most of the chrome is new or redone on the outside. All the glass is good. The rear bumper is the worst of all the chrome. All the shut lines are great. I was told that engine and transmission have been rebuilt. Fresh plugs and wires with rotor and distributor cap. Brakes are fresh with stainless steel lines. All the rear shocks have been replaced along with tie rod end on the front end. Engine bay and under hood is also painted. No Smoke and shifts well. At idle oil pressure is 40 and climbs with rpm. Tachometer gauge is not working, I would say a loose wire while engine was going back in. Mufflers are recent also can still see sticker spot. It needs new seat covers and carpet. A few parts will come with the car visors, radio console, hood chrome vent.
