Vehicle Detail
For sale is my real 1978 Z-28 Camaro, restored in 2010. It has the following: new paint, new factory strips, new camel interior(the touring car edition, more expensive), gold carpet, Optional factory turbine wheels, New center caps ,embles, & lug nuts, New Dash pad, Originally a 4 speed transmission, (has a 5 speed in it at present time), Hurst Comp. Plus Shifter, Power steering, power brakes, power windows, Tilt wheel, Factory tac (works), A/C needs compressor, 368 Cid-350 small block bored .60 over, flat top Pistons, New Lifters, new timing chain & gear, comp. Hi-Lift Cam, Heads ported & polished, 3 Angle valve job, Edelbrock Hi-rise Manifold, 680 CFM Holly Carb., Accel Distributor, 45,000 Volt Coil, Hooker Headers, Lakewood Traction bars, New weather Strippings, (doors & trunk), and new door channels. All rust was cut out of this car and replaced with patch panels during restoration. Driver's side seat belt will not retract, driver bucket seat will not slide back & forth, A/C does not work, (needs charging & prossibly needs a compressor) I have not had it checked out. Transmission has a slight whine in 4th gear, believe to be a 3.73 gear ratio have not checked this out is Posi-trac. No radio, no console. Has a 1979 dash, must have been one of the last 78s manufactured. Factory had probably already set up for the 79 model year or the ran out of 78 dashes. (My theory only) Needs rear floor pan repaired properly, overlooked in restoration. I have a piece of metal in place, but not welded in. The hole is about 8 to 10 inches round. No real problem, but wanted to mention it. The only reason I am selling this car is because my wife says I have too many and I just bought a 1975 Vet. This Camaro is a true Z-28 and was an original 4-speed car. No warranties or guarantees , selling "as is" only. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have, but serious inquiries only please. My phone # 936-598-7212 or 936-591-1968. I will require a $1,000.00 deposit through Paypal.
