1985 Mercedes 300d Mileage: 189,290 Va. Inspected Clear Va.Title No Reserve! If there are any questions,comments,etc please feel free to contact me! This is my 300d Turbo Diesel. It has the 5cylinder 3.0L engine, automatic transmission. It has been well maintained over the years, Regular service done by MB USA, and Autohaus. I have the original owner's manuals,information, and owner's ID plate. For the age of this car, it is in fine shape. There is no rust on the body, floor, etc. It does have its share of nics, scrapes and dings. The worst of which is the dent in the drivers rear quarter. No accident, just a small limb from a tree. These are especially well built. They are called the "million mile car" for a reason. I would feel comfortable driving this car anywhere.The engine starts great,runs strong, and smoothly. The turbo adds a nice feel. It has excellent steering and braking (4-wheeled Disc) capabilities. These cars ride like no other. It has the Becker Sound system, all speakers work great. All the Gauges function properly (excluding the clock). This has the electric sunroof, which works perfect. It still has the original factory First Aid Kit. The Interior is in very nice shape, with few minor defects. On the passenger seat there is a small rip.Other than that it is fine. The wood grain is nice, but the clear cote in some spots has light cracks. All of the exterior and interior lights work properly. The Vacuum Door locks function well. The cruise control is not working at the moment, however it did work recently.These cars use a lot of vacuum powered devices, probably a bad hose? It has plenty of acceleration. The transmission shifts good. It could use a slight adjustment,but nothing major. For a Mercedes of this age, it has low miles. It has the original spare, and tool kit-jack etc. Also the factory undercoating. I have installed a few new parts: Air filter, Oil Filter/Oil changed Windshield Wipers Fuel Filters Cigar Hose(Fuel) Brake Booster Vacuum Line Flushed Fuel System with Diesel Purge The things needed are: A Set of Glow Plugs(Bosch 80006)x5. Still drive-able without a new set, I would recommend them anyhow, for winter. Ac Needs to be recharged. One engine damper strut (this part dampens the vibration of the engine). The driver's left rear window, does not currently work. The dash clock,and cruise control are not functioning at this time. The tires are in okay shape, passed inspection fine. They could be replaced within the next year. I own a few Diesel Mercedes of varying years. They are all wonderful cars, and unlike no other. The safety, and reliability is second to none. I would like to receive a deposit (pay-pal) of $ 125.00 within 3 Days of auction closing.
