Vehicle Detail
Hi, This is a metalic brown 79' SC, its in great shape. I have owned it for 7 years and bought it from the west coast and it has been garaged most of the time and never driven in the winter. It is all stock except the following upgrades: In most cases when I have changed something from stock I have kept what was changed out and would be glad to pass those parts on to you. The original CD box has been changed out for an MSD and a matching MSD coil, and a set of magnecor ignition wires. The air box has a pop valve installed and a K&N air filter. The valve covers are upgraded to the 911 turbo valve covers, a carrera upgrade chain tensioner kit is installed. The air conditioner was completely rebuilt by the previous owner including a cabin fan and blower, I have not used it and have removed the belt, it needs a recharge. There is a complete set of (4) wevo semi-solid engine mounts and a rennline RSR stainless steel engine mount cross-bar installed. The sunroof works great, there is a security system installed but i have not used it. The headliner is in great new shape, the carpet was replaced with factory carpet and looks almost new. The headlights are bosch H4 halogen upgrades with black trim (primed for painting) and there is a larger capacity relay installed, i have the original headlight with matching brown paint. There is a new extra duty battery. The cabin is in great shape all the leather is soft and shows only a little wear in the drivers seat but is still strong and fresh. The is a factory shift kit installed which aids shift the 915. The transmission in general is sound except the syncro going into first has been badly worn by a previous driver and otherwise it has been maintained well all other gears are fine. I have upgraded the exhaust system and have kept the original one, the current system is a SSI stainless steel heat exchanger and a stainless steel muffler. This change improved the air flow and the power curve of the engine. The heat exchangers supply a lot of heat to the cabin. The suspension system is really well built with bilstein sport shocks front and back, a strut brace and lowering kit ( the suspension has been lowered to rally spec) and new torsion bars, the car is corner balanced and drives like a devil in the corners. The body shows no significant dents except one small one just below the passenger side headlight, look closely in the photos. I prefer to sell the car to someone who can pick it up locally, so the buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs including insurance and pick up arrangements.
