This EUROPEAN CLASSIC DOES RUN AND DRIVE. It has much less wear and tear, and rust, etc than expected for its year. The odometer shows 02,107. It is a five digit odometer. IT HAS A FIVE DIGIT ODOMETER THEREFORE IT SHOULD NOT BE ASSUMED AS TRUE MILES. It has a four speed manual transmission. We think it needs a tune-up and carb cleaning. But it runs and drives good. The body is pretty good with only a few areas with rust. There are some spots where there is cracking in the paint or chips. But the paint is shiny and very sparkly. A really rich looking sterling silver color. There is some pitted chrome. The front bumper is missing a small piece towards the driver’s side And there is rust on the bumpers. The tires are good and the rims have some surface rust. The windows are manual. And they work. Some of the rubber around the windows needs to be replaced. In the back windows the metal opener is rusty. But it is functional. Even with all this said, to me it is still a really nice classic coupe. Something worth working on--while you drive it! The interior is in good shape. The front bucket seats and rear fold down back seats, done in black leather, are both in good condition. The dash is good. The two “nn”s at the end of “Karmann Ghia” on the dash are missing. The headliner is faded. The carpets are very nice and the floor underneath look good. The pictures are self explanatory. It is what you see. She is a great example of EUROPEAN design and Automobile history. If you have questions or want to see a specific picture of something, give a call.
