Have fun touring the roads on this well kept 1984 GoldWing Interstate that is ready for the highways. I got this Gold Wing from the second owner who had it for many years and traveled all over the US with it. He always kept it garaged, Personally, I rode this bike nearly 800 miles since owing it. It is nice to be able to carry all my "stuff" in the luggage side compartments and trunk. My reason for selling it is because I am too tall for this bike and no longer ride and dont have time any longer and are selling all of my bikes to pay off our home. I'm going to try and list some of the features it has, but it may have features I overlook, so please ask if you want to know more... I do not have any recommendations currently, there are many shipping companies to chooses from, some large and some small, or you can pick up the bike from our home and drive to your destination, it is fully fueled and ready to go. Bring your helmet and riding gear with you, and call your insurance company to register with them, Texas is a required insurance state. The Good stuff: Wineberry paint color! 1. Bike has clear title in my name 2. Starts up immediately when cranked 3. Has new battery Bought 2 weeks ago/w/ receipt. 4. Has new Honda starter 5. All maintenance recently performed, new filters, oil, lubed, all Honda parts 6. Has personailized artwork, shown in pictures, mountain scene, etc, instriping, I received the bike this way, persoannly it looks pretty nice! 7. Rear luggage compartment is almost new I bought on ebay, looks really nice! 8. Engine is clean with no oil leeks 9. Original exhaust in nice shape, only some very light pitting that should clean up with steel wool. 10. Seat is original honda seat from ebay auction is comfy but has some blemished 11. Comes with New XXL Leather jacket, if you would like it. 12. Rear tire is new only 325 miles, Dunlops 491's front and back, rear tire is nice, has many miles to go. 13. Air shocks that hold air 14. Windshield is in nice shape, but has small eagle sticker on lower midle section that can probably be carefully removed with a heat gun. 15. registration is good thru March and the inspection is new as of today 10.14.2011. 16. Original toll kit and owners manual are all included. There are a few little TLC items that I would do to this bike if I were keeping it... 1. The right side saddle bag cover is damaged and I have not been able to find a replacemant. 4. The rear disc will be needing replacing soon, it is getting thin, but there is plenty of brake material left for a long ride/s 5. Paint has many blemishes for a 1984 Honda that has been staored inside and out 6. Bike has driving lights that are mounted with switches that do not work though, you will have to rewire to make work, the lights are in nice shape. 7. Some of the custome chrome is peeling, such as on the fuel pump cover. 8. The bike runs cool but the fan does not want to go on now for some reason, this will have to be repaired if you are to ride in traffic, as the temp will start to run up if you are not moving None of these items would keep me from making a road trip as it stands right now, but I mention them in the interest of full disclosure. The bike sounds and runs great. This is a bike for reliable riding and enjoying the great handling of a Gold Wing. It could use some TLC as it is nice looking, but is not a "show" bike it is 27 years old. It has been fairly well cared for. Expect to see minor imperfections I'm not claiming it is pristine...I've tried to include detail pictures that convey this. This Gold Wing has a great price for someone who just loves to ride.
