1980 CAMARO Z28. Up for auction is a very original and unmolested 1980 Camaro Z28, production date 02/80. The body is rust/bondo free...100% metal/no filler, the paint is original & the original factory Z28 decals are still there. It is obvious when you see this car that it's accident free. Naturally, the paint is faded and there is some black primer to protect the metal surface where the paint has faded all the way down. The interior is also original and has held up very well, other that some wear through on the drivers carpet and a couple of smallish cracks in the dash pad.....it's as good as you could hope for on a 31 year old car that has not been refurbished. The car runs very well, idles smooth, accelerates well, brakes well, and has a smooth rattle free ride (most of the engine hose clamps are still original). The car still has it's original Z28 rims (good used sets w/tires sell for upto $1000). The car just passed smog, and does not have a/c from the factory. There are lots of late 70s/80s Camaro Z28s for sale.....most have been repainted or if original are worn out, please take into account that on this car what you see is what you get......a good/tight car with no previous paint jobs/hidden repair under the paint surface.
