1970 Chevelle SS 396 with build sheet. This is a project car that has been put underway but dont have the time to finish. There is a 1970 396 CE motor included. Numbers are "CE075156" date stamp is J6 (October 6,1969). It is a 1970 396 CE block. Some say this makes it numbers matching car. You decide. It is not hte motor that originally came with car, but is the motor that a Chevrolet Dealer would have installed as a warranty replacement in 1970. Car is a 4 speed originally but do not have a transmission, bell housing, clutch pressure plate or flywheel. Frame has been cleaned and painted. Has new front bushings and ball joints the brakes look new. Body was taken down to metal with right quarter patch panel has been installed. Left quarter patch panel comes with car but has not been installed. Trunk pan has a few pin holes, floor pans look good except some D.A. put a roll bar in the car and welded it to the floor and package tray. Roll bar has been taken out but weld marks on floor remain and can be cleaned up easily. Rt drip rail was taken off and we have a new one that comes with the car. Car does come with the cowl flapper hood. We have new body bushing kit with new inner fenders, new ft bumper and new A.M. door. It has the round SS gauge dash panel. Car was originally Forest Green with white SS stripes. We have major body and interior parts to put back together. This is a very good body with clean S.C. title.
