Vehicle Detail
1966 Ford Mustang Convertible. Originally a 6-cylinder car/manual transmission car. I bought this vehicle in 2008 with the intention of restoring. Time has gotten away from me so I need to let it go. This car will need a ton of work! In my opinion, the hardest part will be to replace the inner rocker panels. Rear quarters/floor pans will need replacing. The car sat in a barn for about 20 years and the birds got to it. NO DRIVETRAIN! The cowl (upper and lower) has been removed to facilitate infamous cowl repair (make sure you look at the pictures). Removing the cowl involved drilling through roughly 200 spot-welds. No windshield. There wasn't much interior to speak of when I bought it, but what I do have for the car will go with it. Basically, what you see is what you get with the exception of the things I just mentioned. Don't fool yourself, the car will need a ton of work - just being honest! But, I think it can be brought back to life. If you have questions, please ask. This auction has No Reserve, hopefully I will make enough to cover a decent portion of what I have into the vehicle. Car has clean title out of Washington State in my name. I will not fool around with shipping of this vehicle! You must come and pick it up!!!! Lastly - I have a new core support and inner fender apron from NPD (National Parts Depot) for the car and will throw into the deal if bidding goes above $750.00 (these cost me about $175.00). If bidding reaches $900.00 then I will throw in the 3-speed manual transmission (unknown condition, but looks okay). Again, this is a BIG project! Make certain you look at the pictures! Let me know if you need pictures of something specific. Thanks for looking!!
