This little Volkswagen runs and drives good. the motor was rebuilt less than 4,000 miles ago. Using an aftermarket AK code engine case with late model Mexican VW heads for dependability, and the transmission has a new clutch. the following parts are less than a 1,000 miles old new Carburetor, intake, generator, voltage regulator, brakes all the way around, struts. The engine starts right up with the first try and does NOT smoke. The transmission shifts flawless and reverse works perfect. It wouldn't take much to have a super nice vw. The floor pans are in amazing condition. the heat channels are in good shape. I bought this car to restore but I found myself in a pinch and can't afford it anymore. You can drive the car as it is. I currently drive it almost daily and it is currently insured. I welcome you to come drive the car and look it over. There is a rusted spot beside the passanger side back window it isn't that bad but I want you to know that it is there. I had a body shop quote me 200 to fix it. Other than that this car is really solid. Buyer is responsable for paying for vehicle shipping but I will help anyway that I can.
