1984 Mercedes 380SL convertible with removable hard top. Beige with tan interior. The car runs well. Three keys included. The mechanics of this car is in good condition except it is overdue for a front end alignment. The paint is in fair condition. The soft top is in poor condition. The history of the tires is unknown. They are at least nine years old. There is about four thirty-seconds of tread left on the front tires and about five thirty-seconds of tread left on the rear tires. All the exterior lights are functional. All of the interior lights are functional except for the trunk light. Originally titled in California. 164,014 miles. The actual mileage at pick up may be a few miles more. The car was recieved not running after several years of storage. The following parts were installed in 2007 to bring it into running condition: Fuel pump (Bosch 69609), fuel filter (Mahle KL 38), and fuel pump relay (KAE 001 545 53 05). In 2007 the following parts were installed: Fuel level sending unit (VDO E2030-14353), right and left headlight doors (Bosch W0133-1607612 and 1608474), seat hinge covers (06055-14476 and 14477), turn signal relay (KAE 000 812 10 63), door contact switch (OES 000 821 15 52), antenna seal (126-827-14-98), overload relay (P2056-18124), window switch (O3060-11828), hazzard switch (Hela P3030-11834), odometer gears (odometergears.com), and various interior light bulbs. The following parts were installed in 2011: Sears DieHard, center link and left side tie rod. The following items are included with the sale: CD repair manual, an original head light door, car cover, auto trans filter kit, and original owners manuals. This car has the following issues: Convertible top has been repaired in several places(see pictures); there is a large dent in the side pannel behind the left side door (see pictures); the air conditioning unit is not charged; the heating system is not fully working; the clock is not working; the outside temperature guage is not working; there is some rust on the fuel door (see pictures); there is some sort of discoloration of the paint on the upper left hand corner of the trunk lid (see pictures): cracks in dashboard (see pictures): hard top has some rust on the inside at the back where it mates to the body: the drivers side map pocked is broken (see pictures): the yellow brake light (pad wear indicator) blinks (probably a loose sensor, because there is plenty of pad left). In Georgia a 1984 vehicle can be bought and sold without a title with a bill of sale only. This car was aquired without a title. Included is a letter from the local Tax Commissioner that should allow this vehicle to be registered in other states. A copy will be provided upon request. This vehicle is for local pick up only.
