No odors or rips that I noticed. I have test driven this beauty and the, 132hp, 2.0L, inline, 4-cylinder engine, drives smooth and the, automatic, transmission shifts fine. Air conditioning is cold! In frontal impact testing, the Neon scored four out of five stars; in side-impact tests, it got three stars. Overall, really nice little, affordable car for someone.
