I have a 1982 VW Rabbit Diesel for sale. I have owned her since 1991 and she has been to Texas, Alabama, Nebraska, & to Crete Greece 3 times. I have since retired from the military and now she idly waits for her new owner. This has been a great car for me, now it is time to let her go. I have put new tires, shocks, struts, battery, left drive axle, (just recently new front brakes & right axle), new rebuilt fuel injection pump within the last 18 months. I have all receipts. She has some minor dents, scratches, does need a paint job. There is very minor rust, nothing major. The interior dash has cracks from sun damage, the overhead upholstery has been redone. The carpet and seats are in good shape. The radio has been replaced and only works on AM. She does use a bit of oil on start up; I would to if I had that many miles on me. As I said earlier I have owned my VW since 1991 and she has been around the world with me, literally. The buyer shall pay shipping and handling charges or if you live in the San Diego California area you can pick it up at here at home. If you have any questions please let me know. I want to add that it is a 5 speed manual shift. It has a sun roof; however it is not working at this point, I installed a new cable for it and believe just needs adjusting. It did have AC at one time; however I removed it as it didn't work and at the time I didn't need it and never have.
