Vehicle Detail
Here we have a 1923 Ford T-Bucket for sale with a shortblock 305, 13,5XX miles. It would be a great Show Car or Weekend ride. Runs and Sounds Great! The vehicle does need a new radio, I had it parked locally and somebody stole the radio, but it does still have all the speakers and wires. It has many modifications to it including Brass radiator, Edlebrock intake manifold, Mild Cam, Longtube Headers, Freshly Rebuilt Holly 4 Barrel Carb., Mickey Thompson 31/15.50/15 tires, etc... I do not know all the specs on the car because I did not build it, we purchased it like it is from Indiana. I do know that it is very nice and will turn heads. Please NO Tire-kickers, Low-ballers etc... Please serious inquiries only. If you have questions, want more pics, or want to setup an appointment to view/test drive it call or text Mike 334-685-7029 , or Roger 334-441-9270anytime. On Oct-08-11 at 20:45:07 PDT, seller added the following information: One thing we just recently found out about this vehicle is the wiring around the switches have also been unplugged. I suppose when the radio was stolen they thought it was all hooked up to the switches. However, the headlights, blinkers, and taillights were hooked up along with the horn to the switches in the dash . They do still work when touched to a power supply, but I do not know how to hook them back up to the switches. The Car still starts and drives with no problems all the gauges: speed, rpm's, fuel, oil, etc. still work with no problems. Only the lighting and it is all tucked in the framing and the wiring is still all there in the dash it just needs to be hooked back up to the toggle switches. There is also a hidden Kill switch for the car in the trunk and the trunk will lock so it cannot be stolen. The suspension on it is fully adjustable chrome coilovers in the rear and chrome leaf springs up front. We had the car detailed by a family member and instead of polishing the chrome on the headers, leaf springs, the front end of the frame along with the front disc brakes he just sprayed them with black paint. The idiot tried to take a grinder to the headers to remove surface rust and put lines in it, so he thought he could just spray them black instead . As you could only imagine he did not get payed for detailing it! The paint can be removed fairly easy and the chrome underneath is NOT in bad condition, it was just on the surface. Steel wool would have removed it with a little elbow grease. It does not look bad, but did and can look alot better chrome. I wouldn't recommend stripping the paint off the headers because of the grinder marks, if you would prefer chrome ones they are fairly inexpensive and easy to get. This vehicle is also a fiberglass body and is Street Legal with a clear title and VIN from a 1981 Ford donor vehicle. I think that is about it for now, I just want to be as honest as I can. I also removed the "Buy it Now" option on the auction seeing the interest gained on this vehicle. The reserve price has almost been met now. Also Please NO TRADES! and do not bid if you are not intending on purchasing this vehicle. Feel free to ask questions or call anytime on one of the numbers listed above. Like I stated before this is a very nice show car or weekend ride, a true showstopper, As George Thorgood says "Bad to the Bone". Thank you and Good Luck!
