You are bidding on a 71 Chevy Short Bed Custom Deluxe with 92,000 orginal miles. It has power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, air conditioning, original 350 motor with 350 automatic transmission. Runs and drives good. Truck was bought new in Martinsville VA at Bob White Chevrolet. It was a one family owned truck in Stoneville NC until I got it 2 years ago. Truck has less than 500 miles with an on frame restoration which consisted of new cab mounts, inner and outer rocker panels and new metal in cab corners and lower fenders. Truck has new exhaust (thrush mufflers) tailpipes straight out the back with chrome extensions, new wheels, tires, caps and lugs, 275-60-15 BFG's. New bumpers, moldings, interior parts etc.. etc. Motor has new belts, ac spark plugs, ac oil filter, air filter, cap and rotor. Carburetor was rebuilt, new valve cover gaskets, new optima battery. The air conditioner did work and was cold but the clutch froze up and needs replaced. New clutch is $75 at local auto parts store, just never got around to replacing it. The original radio does not work and there is a small stone chip on passenger side windshield, smaller than a dime. A really nice truck for the money. Only reason I am selling is because I found something else I want. Drive home or I can help with loading on transporter.
