I have a vintage 73 volks super beetle for sale as I never use it. It has approx 1200 miles on a rebuilt engine, done by a well known guru well versed on aircooled VWs, aprox 45 years experience. The total rebuild with hardened seats for unleaded gas, new muffler, clutch, plug in for winter use, remote oil filter, new brakes, master cly,shoes, tierod end, steering dampner, fresh oil change after 2nd valve adjustment. The engine rebuild cost approx 2800 about 4 years ago and hasn't been driven much, it sits in my climate controlled shop taking up space. Time to go, more honey do's to try to get done. No rust I can find except on running boards, which if you replace would get rid of that, cheap and easy change. The odometer says 67k and no verification. It was owned my a old women that passed on and I bought it. The paint is a respray in orig color, but not the best, I think it was scuffed and shot by like Maaco or like. Looks decent though, Dash has one crack,original radio (weak) all lights and elect works good, tires so so but will work no cracking. As you can seen by feedback it was good till a guy bought a 290,000 mile truck after looking it over and driving it then drove home,1700 miles pulling a jeep with it and it started leaking from power steering pump, I offered to buy a pump even though no warranty was given, when I was about to send it he had already gave me a bad feed back. I was so mad I said to my self the heck with it. He was just a jack. So if any doubts have it inspected, drive it. I have honor and integrity, but by all means when in doubt don't buy. The Bug runs down the road great, I broke it in correctly, varying speeds and such. Oh there is a rip as shown in headliner approx 8 in which I did removing rear seat. It is not a perfect show car, but it is a nice Super Beetle for age. Any Questions just fire away, because I can't think of everthing.
