This is a very nice 2000 Lincoln LS that has had very good care. Last Wednesday on the way to work, the motor started making a funny noise, so I pulled into a service station and parked the car. I don't know if the noise was coming from the motor or the air conditioning compressor, but I didn't want to spend $150 to have it towed to a Lincoln dealership and another $150 for them to check it out and whatever it cost to repair it, because I was getting ready to buy the Nissan Xterra. I had been looking at a used Nissan Xterra and planned on trading in this car on it, but was afraid to drive it another 20 miles to the used car lot where the Nissan Xterra was. I had my dad come and get me and take me to buy the Xterra. The service station owner told me I could leave it there for a week if I needed too. I knew that If I paid cash for the Xterra, I would come out better than I would trying to get them to take the LS in trade, so I decided to just sell it on eBay as a parts car. I don't think the car should be driven any distance, so the buyer should bring a truck or trailer to take it home. I had a used transmission with 70,000 miles put in the LS a few months back at a cost of $1250 and that alone should be worth at least $1000. It has good tires and the body and paint are pretty good too. Online, the bumpers are going for $300 each, and if you have a 2000 LS, you know there's always something to fix and the used parts are all very high. I think this is a great bargain at $1000 for someone who has room to keep it for a parts car or would like to make money selling the parts. I simply do not have anywhere to keep it or a way to take the parts off, or I would do that myself. The Deposit must be paid for by Sunday night at 7:00 and the car must be picked up in Osage Beach, Missouri next week. *The car is as described and is being sold as is. If you want the car shipped, you have to make all the arrangements after the car is paid for. I have the clean title in hand and it has no liens, so this can be done ASAP.
