This was probably the most powerful/fastest air-cooled cycle that Honda ever made! Only produced 1 year(1983), it is a true collectable + 1 of the best lookin' bikes they ever made I think,... the bodywork looks very tight /streamlined + flows beautifully together..the Blue white red stripe is my favorite color combo,but the Red white is nice also.I've known this bike since the 80's + I know its been well taken care of...has only 8K original miles with a clear title in my name.Back in the day I had a Rickman Z1, bored-out,cams,header etc..+ I would always beat my friend on THIS 1100F! well the Rickman was 80 lbs. lighter + totally TRICKED-OUT! anyway...my buddy didn't like gettin' beat all the time(egos at stake U know!) + decided to put tons of $$ into his F to kick my butt! bottom line is IT DIDN'T WORK! but still he created a GREAT 1100F in the process...bored out, ported + polished head, drop-in cams,falicon crank, smooth- bore carbs+ new V+H air pods, high perf. coils+wires,V+H 4/1 header,,etc It runs perfectly + is a BLAST to ride..also has Marzzocchi shocks + turn signals but I haven't put the signals on yet...I can take more pics. if U want, but I think U get the idea from these ... bike had bout 6K into it back in the 80's...now who knows what it would cost ? bikes up for local sale also so auction may end early GOOD LUCK! any ??'s call (215)901-1410 or email me Mike. On Oct-05-11 at 18:25:02 PDT, seller added the following information: Just a quick update on the 1100 ...I took the 34mm Smoothbores off today + verified that the engine(intakes) HAVE been ported + polished + the pistons are higher compression than stock ...a few bidders were concerned if the engine work was really done or not...well not to worry / the reserve on the bike was purposely set low so I could be sure the bike would sell...I need some quick cash for a vacation next week ...Typical 1100F's go from 1500-4500 depending on condition,mileage,+modifications,etc...this 1 is in exceptional shape + runs beautifully ... its probably worth between 3-4K..but thats my opinion 1 thing for sure, whoever wins this bike will LOVE IT!!!!
