Heres the good: works good enough now for this cool van to be daily driven by me,and am selling it now running as a working vehicle,brakes work ok,trans stays in all gears,clutch is good,motor is a 1974dual port bug block according to its serial # prefix "AH",has correct aluminum "dog-house"oil cooler set up,12v generator that charges good,009 bosch distributer,german solex carb,recent kyb shocks,empi rear sway bar with urethane bushings,pioneer cd player with mp/i-pod,flash-stick input,2 sony door speakers,2 box speakers in the back,new clutch cable,new oil-cooler seals,new throttle cable,new battery,recent valve adjustment,points,condenser,plugs&oil change,roof rack & extra side window set-up included in sale.muffler is the correct single outlet exhaust,muffler end resonator comes with the van but is not installed.heater boxes are in good condition & are not hooked up to the fan for summer use(can be hooked up for winter)original oil-bath air filter.Rocker areas totally rust free(these are usually bad on most vans)odometer reads 55+thousand miles im guessing that the van has 155thousand on it,odo doesnt have a 100000 space. Now the bad: windsheild has a couple of chips in it,neither have traveled or spidered out at all driving this van for a while,sun visors are missing,wrong mirrors are on the van,hi beam only comes on once in a while(low beam always works)driver door latches and unlatches only from inside,no tumbler,interior panels are all rough,passenger door window regulator doesnt operate the window.the pictures show the only thru rust areas are in the floor areas.front sheet metal has had some damage from spare tire mount(minor)pics show back side.sliding door has minor body work fail going on,small amount of rust under windshield(as most of these vans do this)tires work but are older(L.T. rated)turn-signal switch looks rough,signals work but dont cancel themselves.horn doesnt work,driver seat-belt latch cover gone but still latches.rear window de-fogger wires are not hooked up.parking brake pulls out &ratchets in but doesnt work.windshield sprayer tank is there and may work but have never filled it & pressured it up. for the age of this van the older re-paint is rough and was done probably quite a few years ago,engine works good and does drip a very small amount and should be alright for quite a while,This bus works the way it is but deserves more than i am capable of,other vans i have been watching on e-bay that are just a little less $ than this one either are totally destroyed with rust or havent moved in years,are generally trashed,im driving this baby now as transpo and would love someone to afford makin her nicer and appreciate old german vans.ask questions,dont bid if you arent serious,delivery could be arranged depending where you are.van is in the new mexico,south colorado area,good luck(970)769 2994 deposit,final payment required before pick-up or delivery arrangement
