ONE OF THE NICEST LOOKING 60’s MUSCLECARS HAS TO BE THE 68-69 MOPAR B-BODY CARS! AND THIS IS ONE OF THEM… A REAL 69 PLYMOUTH GTX 440-375HP / 4SPD TRANS / DANA 60 (4:10s) A VERY RARE CAR INDEED! THIS VERY NICE MOPAR IS BEING MADE AVAILABLE AFTER BEING VERY WELL CARED FOR BY THE CURRENT OWNER FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS. IT’S BEEN DRIVEN A TOTAL OF ABOUT 300 MILES IN THAT TIME. THIS GTX SHOULD BE SEEN IN PERSON TO FULLY APPRECIATE THE AUTHENTICITY OF ITS CONDITION, IT’S BEEN COSMETICALLY RESTORED TO ITS CURRENT STATE. IS A NICE STREET PERFORMER AND A GREAT EXAMPLE OF AMERICAN MUSCLE! THE IVY GREEN METALLIC PAINT TOPPED OFF WITH THAT BLACK VINYL TOP AND WHITE INTERIOR IS TIMELESS. THE PANELS ARE VERY STRAIGHT AND THE GAPS ARE VERY GOOD. THE DOCUMENTS INCLUDE THE ORIGINAL OWNER’S MANUAL, SOME RECEIPTS SHOWING THE ENGINE REBUILD AND THE CAR’S ORIGINAL FENDERTAG (ALBIET VERY WORN). THIS IS A VERY RUST FREE CAR, WHICH CONTAINS MUCH OF ITS ORIGINAL SHEET METAL. I HAVE NOTICED SMALL REPAIRS DONE TO THE LOWER QTRS ON BOTH SIDE, BUT THE VIEW INSIDE THE TRUNK SHOWS NOTHING BUT THE ORIGINAL SOUND DEADENING SPRAY TYPICAL OF ORIGINAL MOPARS, SO THE REPAIRS MUST HAVE BEEN DONE DOWN LOW, BELOW THE STAINLESS TRIM ON THE BLACK AREAS OF THE CAR. AN AFTER MARKET TACH HAS BEEN ADDED AS WELL AS A COUPLE GUAGES UNDER THE DASH THE SPORT STEERING WHEEL IS IN GOOD SHAPE AND THE DASH CONTAINS THE GTX SPECIFIC 150MPH SPEEDO AND THE OPTIONAL TACH. THIS CAR IS 100% AND NEEDS NOTHING TO BE ENJOYED TOMORROW, THE OWNER WOULD LIKE TO GET INTO AN EARLY 50’S CHEVY WHICH IS THE REASON FOR THE GTX BEING SOLD. THE CAR WAS PURCHASED THE CAR IN 2001 AS YOU SEE IT AND FROM WHAT I CAN TELL IT EXHIBITS NO SIGNS OF ANY PREVIOUS ACCIDENT OR DAMAGE. ALL OF THE CHROME & STAINLESS TRIM IS VERY GOOD AND SHINES UP NICELY. I’D BUY A SET OF 15X7 STEELIES, PAINT THEM THE BODY COLOR, FIND A SET OF APPROPRIATE DOG DISH HUBCAPS AND WRAP THEM IN A SET OF REDLINES. IT WOULD LOOK MEAN AS HELL. THIS CAR LOOKS GOOD AND HANDLES WELL WITH THE EXISTING WHEEL AND TIRE COMBO. THIS CAR IS A BIG ATTENTION GETTER AT ANY GAS STATION, CRUISE NIGHT, OR CAR SHOW – THE ENTIRE UNDERCARRIAGE HAS BEEN CLEANED AND PAINTED CHASSIS BLACK, OVER THE ORIGINAL UNDERCOATING.
