Vehicle Detail

I am the third owner of this car that has 49,5xx original miles. This car is rust free and has never been wrecked. It is all original including paint and interior....which is a rare thing to find. I have many records dating back to the original owner. The car was originally purchased in Greensboro, NC from an armed forces member and has been in the Carolina’s ever since. I have safety inpsection receipts from many years which corroborate the mileage. The car also includes the original manuals and even the original red "tool" pouch. Be sure to check out the free history report.....you don't see many cars that clean after 22 years! The car runs and drives great....seriously. I had new Pirelli tires installed last year. When I bought the car it had an overheating problem. The engine got a new head gasket and the radiator was re-cored last summer. The car runs nice and cool. The seat belts were replaced as well. I just changed the oil and oil filter and replaced the differential and transmission fluid with Redline last month. The body is in great shape. It has one small crease on the nose and normal door dings is the only body damage. All the gauges work and the a/c turns on but needs recharging. Of course, there is probably a leak or something in the system; however, the fact that the compressor turns on shows that there aren’t any electrical issues. Even the radio and digital clock work! The power mirror switch is bad. I have a replacement….just haven’t changed it. The dash is cracked and covered by a carpeted mat. The seats need recovering. The doors are difficult to open with the outside door latches (they open easily from this inside) and need an adjustment to open easily. This is a typical Alfa problem and will give the new owner a couple hours of joyous pleasure removing the door panels and adjusting the rod connecting the door handle to the latch! Or, you can do what I do. I leave the top down and simply reach inside and use the inside handle. The top was cut in a parking lot earlier this year. It could probably be repaired. The back window is clear and the rest of the top is good so it could be saved. The car has a nose bra and a top cover. Not much else to say except you don’t find very many unmolested Alfas any more….especially with low mileage. This car really does drive nicely and you can drive as is or it makes a good solid car to restore. I am selling because I am moving in October and have too many cars....six counting the Alfa Romeo…and I can’t move or store them all. I am moving mid-October. So, you have until then to pick up the car or make arrangements for shipping. Payment by USPS Money Orders, Cash, or wire transfer. On Oct-01-11 at 12:40:39 PDT, seller added the following information: I pressed "reply" before I finished answering the question: Any starting or charging issues?.....NONE! Any electrical issues?....Other than the power mirror switch mentioned in the listing, everything works All lights work?...Everything works (inlcuding the trunk light) except for the high mounted taillight. It need a bulb and needs to be more securely mounted. All gauges work?...all gauges work. The gas gauge acted up one time when I first got the car. Not sure why...maybe from sitting. Works fine now.
