WELCOMErod@rodsandhobbies.com is auctioning a 1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A w/PTO DESCRIPTION All parts included in this auction are as shown in pics of complete vehicle. This willy's was complete and ran and drove before I started tearing it apart for restoration. It had no knocks or pings of any kind. 4wd worked fine. The only thing wrong with the powertrain is it would only go into low gear and not high gear. Have not tore the case apart to see if it's just simply the high gear that is bad. This tub is pretty rusty but very saveable. I did remove some body filler in sections of the tub at locations I found. This one could use a good media blast and repaired if looking to keep the original metal body. KNOWN NON-ORIGINAL PARTS LIST Tires and rims are one of the non-orignal parts, along with the custom made gas tank that fits in the area the back seat would go. Instead you have a large tank that could probably get you to Japan and back...smile. It appears to be Rhino seats they used for the front seats. HUH? Why? The front winshield glass is not laminated glass, which was installed from the previous owner and for your safety I am not including in the auction. It has been converted to a 12v system. The title is not original and appears to be reissued by the state of Arizona in 2000 with a new VIN Plate, unsure as to why, but is free and clear of any liens. I would love to see this thing fully restored and everything completely gone through to insure many more years of survival for this 46 Willys, you can contact me with a budgeted price for restoration or just to get it up and running with all issues fixed. I hate to auction this but need to complete my blasting room and paint booth at my shop, so Please Contact Me with any questions or concerns at rod@rodsandhobbies.com or 435.256.0507. Thanks for looking and Happy Bidding. Rod Photo Gallery of 46 WILLYS being auctioned The complete vehicle pictures are how this vehicle was when I first got it and are for reference only. This auction does include all parts as it was to make it a running and drivable vehicle. Please review all pics and ask questions. This auction is not for an assembled completed 1946 Jeep Willy's ... but for a complete disassembled to a point 1946 Willys. Notice the bat used to try and get into high gear...lol. This pic was from the previous owner. Again auction does include all parts seen in photo of engine...but it is disassemble please see all pics posted. As of 9/20/2011 this is how the 1946 Willys sits in my shop - along with the tub that sits out back. I will not disassemble any more and again all parts as seen in completed vehicle pictures are included in this auction, but it is assembled to the point as shown below. Odometer says 24995 which for sure as been turned over once The following pics are during disassembly in November of 2010 ' DON'T FORGET TO CHECK OUT MY PHOTOBUCKET ALBUM FOR MORE PICTURES VIN/TITLE VERIFICATION PAYMENT DETAILS A non-refundable deposit of US $200.00 is due within 48 hours of auction close. HAPPY BIDDINGOn Sep-22-11 at 19:12:47 PDT, seller added the following information: Picture Update 9/22/2011I'll update more pics again tomorrow More pics on Photobucket too..thx for looking. On Sep-24-11 at 11:19:23 PDT, seller added the following information: Update 9/24/11 Sorry a day late but last group of pictures. Group pics #2 More pics on my photobucket album too...thanks for looking. On Sep-27-11 at 12:58:59 PDT, seller added the following information: Almost forgot the spare and some larger tires that go with it4 BFG's a Sport King and a spare tire with rim. The spare is 31x10.5 R15 same size that is on the jeep...but the 4 BFG's and Sport King is 32x11.50 R15 I thought they were in better shape but they are showing signs of dryrot/weather cracking and 2 are pretty oddly worn from being on a bronco with the IRS Suspension. But for a light vehicle like the jeep a good set to use for heavy offroading only....keeping a new street set nice.
