Priced to sell. This VW needs love. I bought it for $1000 with a burnt engine and a new front end in 92. I had a new/rebuilt put in(about $1600 of work) and drove it all over the mid west and CO where I was living, racking up about 60,000 miles. Moved back to NY in 2003 and planned to keep it forever. It sat too long and I stopped paying it the attention it needed to be happy. Unfortunately, problems developed from lack of use. Now I want to see it go to someone who cares like I once did. She is not running well at all and needs help. I do not want to put the money into her because i'm ok with letting her go for less. The body is pretty good. The top tent is weathered and torn and there's a crack in the windsield. All the fun parts are there tho, 2 tables, stove, sink, cabinets(needs bits here and there, some of the wood laminate is peeling). Overall, it's a great start if you want to buy cheap and invest what's necessary. I can't tell you what that may entail but i will say she's always been solid and dependable when cared for properly.
