Print this listing 1938 Ford "Posies" Street RodVehicle Overview"Something wild 38" is a 1938 Ford V8 Convertible Sedan Street Rod built and designed by Ken "Posies" Fenicle of Posies Rods and Customs in Hummelstown PA. It was built for his own personal use between 1986-87. It was built from a solid show winning example. Once completed in 1987 it was featured on the cover of Street Rodder magazine (an original issue included with the sale) as well as other publications of the time. At the time of its production the car had many ground breaking and unique features including early Thom Taylor graphics, early Boyd Coddington Machined Billet wheels, experimental Posies leaf spring suspension and rear air suspension. Under the hood is a 427 side oiler (out of a Thunderbolt), full roll cage - the top is not removable. Unique and no longer produced gauges and instruments. The interior has a very unique design with a accessory 41 Chevy steering wheel, Art Deco custom dash and a Tuck N Roll. After Posies ownership, the car has had two owners, one of whom the current owner acquired it from 13 years ago. Throughout the years it has been mechanically sorted and tuned with the most recent sorting taking place in 2008 by Image Street Rods in Santa Maria CA. Currently the paint and all exterior and interior features present themselves extremely well and it has remained basically unchanged or modified since Posies built the car back in 1987. It will be a big hit at any National Automotive meet or local car show and is truly a piece of Hot Rod History to be cherished by its next owner.
