1970 Jaguar XKE Series 2 Coupé On offer is this 1970 Jaguar XKE Series 2 Coupé. With a completely rebuilt only 5000 miles ago, the car is a pleasure to drive. It is responsive with good power. The car is accompanied by a photographic file of of the rebuild process. The original 4-speed manual gearbox shifts well with good synchros and clutch. The rest of the mechanicals are in good condition – suspension feels taut, brakes and steering are good. All the electrical systems work. The car, a California native is completely free of rust, the panels are straight, and body gaps are good. There are imperfections in the paint – some cracking and loss, but from a few feet away the car presents well. The interior shows exceptionally well in quite rare blue, with no rips, stains or abnormal wear to the leather seats and good carpets. The car features original chrome wire wheels shod with good redline tires.
