Perfect for the gypsy soul, this listing is for a beautifully restored 1979 Volkswagen Westfalia bus. This vehicle comes with original camping equipment: propane stove, stainless steel sink, water and electric hook-ups, a pop-up tent that sleeps two, and a fold-down back seat that sleeps two more. The carpet, curtains, upholstery, mattress, tent canvas and screens have all been redone, and the bus sports a fresh, orange-and-white interior that compliments the dreamsicle paint on the exterior. A Pioneer cd player/stereo replaces the original radio. Odometer reads 15,802, but given the age of the vehicle, it is safe to assume that is 115,802 -- however, a rebuilt 2.0 VW engine (fuel-injected) was installed in 2009, and approximately 3,000 miles have been added on the new engine. This bus is a real head-turner, and draws attention wherever it goes: camping by the lake, tailgating at the football game, or just picking up groceries in town. A caveat: although this is the best-looking bus I've seen, there are some imperfections in the paint, particularly around the front bumper and by the wheels, which I've tried to show in the pictures.
