Overall condition 1984 Porsche 911 in Black with Tan leather interior. This car is still finished in all of its original paint, except right rear quarter panel, and with an unblemished leather interior. Any chips—and there are a few small ones as well as some nicks in the doors—have been left unmolested and without any pretense that it is something other than an original 1984 factory paint job that’s been pampered. Car has no signs of rust, and has always been garaged. Dashboard and seats are in excellent condition. Driven just 90,000 miles, it is still a beautiful car. Classic and timeless, the early 80s were supposed to be the end of the line for the 911. Their popularity remained as strong as ever, however and the Carrera 3.2 is the car that ushered in its continuation. It’s not hard to see why. They were quick, nimble, reliable and efficient. Nothing that Porsche—or anyone else at the time—could come close to. It is an extremely original unmolested example that drives as well as it looks. Return tubes have normal seepage, but have no drips on garage floor. A friend and I have owned the car for 5 years. Recent work includes new brakes, voltage regulator, new ty-rod ends, factory short shift kit, new shifter bushings, new exhaust down tubes, full tune up (filters, wires etc.). Car has been running with full synthetic oil and gearbox lube. There are no modifications to this car other than the wheels and stereo. Factory options are sunroof, sport shocks, A/C and whale tail. A/C blows cool air, not cold, and worked well with a charge last year. The car drives tight and smooth, as a 911 should. Brakes are firm and tight. We do not disclose our reserve price. Deposit The successful high bidder is required to submit a 10% deposit within 2 business days of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. No sale is final until a 10% deposit is in our possession. Failure to submit said deposit in the provided time frame shall represent a voluntary forfeiture of the right to purchase said vehicle. The vehicle will then be released for sale to other parties and the seller reserves the right to seek financial restitution for the fees incurred in the re-listing of said vehicle and to file complaints with EBay which may result in disciplinary action and negative feedback.
